Pega Developer with Constellation (5+ Years Experience)

Job Summary

• The role involves designing, developing, and implementing applications using the Pega platform, particularly leveraging the Pega Constellation framework.
• The candidate will collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Develop high-quality Pega solutions adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Utilize Pega’s low-code capabilities to create reusable components and integrate with external systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Pega applications using the Constellation framework to meet business requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on Pega Constellation platform features, best practices, and integration strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in existing Pega applications.
• Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and document solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and performance standards.
• Optimize and improve Pega applications continuously.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration with other systems.
• Mentor junior developers on Pega best practices and Constellation usage.
• Participate in application deployment and release processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Pega development.
• Strong proficiency and experience specifically with the Pega Constellation framework.
• Deep knowledge of Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) and BPM solutions.
• In-depth understanding of Pega’s application lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, and deployment.
• Expertise in integration protocols and APIs like SOAP, REST, MQ, Web Services.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in Pega environments.
• Experience with Pega 8.x versions and features.
• Hands-on UI experience with React JS is beneficial.
• Advanced SQL knowledge is desirable.
• Certifications such as Pega Systems Certified Business/System Architect (CSSA/CSA) preferred.
• Experience with Pega SFA (Salesforce Automation) and Pega CS (Customer Service) products is a plus.
