Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced CPega Lead System Architect (LSA) with over 8 years of hands-on experience in Pega application development, specializing in Customer Service frameworks and advanced Decisioning solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, architecting, and delivering enterprise-grade Pega solutions, including Customer Decision Hub (CDH), Next-Best-Action (NBA), and customer service workflows. This role requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to drive business outcomes through intelligent, data-driven decision models and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of Pega solutions, focusing on Customer Service and Decisioning (CDH, NBA, Decision Strategies).
  • Develop and customize Pega applications using PRPC components such as process flows, UI (harnesses, sections), connectors, decision tables, and decision trees.
  • Architect and deploy advanced decisioning strategies, predictive models, and adaptive analytics to optimize customer interactions.
  • Integrate Pega Decisioning tools with external systems and databases, leveraging APIs (SOAP/REST) for seamless data flow.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate business needs into scalable Pega solutions.
  • Create and maintain low-level and high-level design documents for enterprise class structures, data models, and data classes.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring high performance and reliability of Pega applications.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical leadership and support.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Pega platform updates, tools, and industry trends, recommending improvements as needed.
  • Ensure solutions adhere to Pega guidelines, design patterns, and industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on Pega development experience, including significant work with Customer Service and Decisioning frameworks.
  • Pega Certified Lead System Architect (LSA) is mandatory; additional certifications such as CSSA and Decisioning Architect are preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH), Next-Best-Action Designer, and implementation of AI-driven decision models.
  • Strong understanding of Pega PRPC, BPM, and CRM business processes.
  • Experience integrating Pega with external systems via APIs, and working knowledge of data integration and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing complex workflows, data schemas, and user interfaces using Pega’s low-code development methodology.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills; ability to resolve defects and optimize application performance.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience mentoring and leading development teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS), SQL, shell scripting, and analytics tools (R, Python) is an advantage.
  • Experience with batch monitoring, incident management, and support for Pega CDH applications.
